What kind of company deserves genuine commitment?
Our answer: Every company that values its people.
Over the past two years, we’ve had the privilege of working with a hidden champion in Taiwan—an accomplished manufacturing company with strong technical expertise and a solid market position. More importantly, behind this company is a team of founders and leaders who truly care about their employees and believe in change.
It all began with the founder—who has led the company for over 40 years—placing his complete trust in us. He openly admitted that while he wasn’t entirely familiar with the details of the talent and organizational development assessments we proposed, from employee engagement surveys to executive talent development interviews, he was willing to try—because he believed that anything benefiting the employees would ultimately benefit the company.
As external consultants, our role wasn’t just to give recommendations—it was to deeply integrate into the company, understanding its core values and beliefs. We conducted extensive one-on-one interviews, speaking with everyone from the founder and executives to mid-level managers and frontline employees. Every voice helped us piece together the company’s true essence.
Through every briefing session, workshop, and eventually even external team-building and CSR activities, we consistently conveyed one message: we believe in transparent communication, we trust every honest response, and we strive to turn every opinion into fuel for organizational growth.
In a recent interview, a senior employee who had been with the company for 18 years shared a reflection. During the last employee feedback survey, her team hesitated about whether they should express their honest thoughts. We took the opportunity to encourage her: "You’ve seen how the company has changed—this time, don’t hold back. Speak your mind."
When she nodded with a bright smile, it was a moment of genuine connection. This kind of feedback from employees is not just an affirmation of the company’s efforts—it’s a signal that change has truly begun. When employees start believing their voices matter, transformation gains real momentum.
Based on insights from employee engagement surveys and leadership interviews, we identified deep-seated challenges and opportunities within the company. This led to a series of initiatives, from enhancing the onboarding experience for new hires and developing leadership skills for managers to optimizing performance management and refining the company’s mission and vision. These changes were made possible by leadership’s openness to learning and by employees experiencing firsthand that the company truly values its people—not just in words, but through action.
In our years of employer branding work, we have always believed in one fundamental truth: real change starts with trust, dialogue, and listening to every voice. We don’t just help companies build attractive employer brands—we help them become places where employees truly want to stay and grow.
When frontline employees begin to look forward to a better future with their company—when they see opportunities for their own development—that’s what drives us.
As this project comes to a close, we want to share this message with more companies: Every step in organizational transformation and cultural evolution is not just about making a company run faster—it’s about making every individual feel a sense of belonging and growth. If you are looking for ways to initiate change, or if you’re ready to transform your organization, we’d love to have a conversation.
Let’s build a truly meaningful employer brand together.
