The DesignBIZ Award for New Business Design, organized by Shopping Design, held its inaugural edition in 2025 and attracted participation from hundreds of corporate brands and design agencies. After a rigorous selection process, only 23 projects emerged as winners. The judges noted that this year’s winning works not only demonstrate innovation and strategic thinking in design but also underscore the real value of design in driving business growth and sustainable practices, setting an important benchmark for the award’s future development. CoFound is honored to have collaborated with PRORIL as brand consultant on this project, jointly earning the DesignBIZ Runner Award.

Among the award-winning projects, PRORIL was selected alongside several well-known brands and organizations, including Cathay United Bank, PX Mart, Farglory Group, Tainan City Cultural Affairs Bureau, Fubon Recreation, and RhinoShield. Through its brand revitalization, PRORIL showcases the international competitiveness of Taiwan’s B2B manufacturing sector. The brand not only responds to market changes with a renewed identity but also communicates a trustworthy and professional image on the global stage.
Launched by Shopping Design in 2025, the DesignBIZ Award differs from traditional design competitions by focusing on how design contributes to brand strategy, service innovation, and organizational optimization while addressing sustainability and social issues. The award features five categories—New Business Design, Rising Talent, Impactful Campaign, Sustainable Practice, and Business Disruptor—recognizing outstanding cases where design thinking and creativity drive brand growth, business breakthroughs, and social impact. The award highlights the true value of design as a core method for driving industry and societal transformation.
Founded in 1979 and based in Kaohsiung, PRORIL specializes in manufacturing submersible pumps, including drainage, sewage, and slurry pumps. Facing global market challenges and the sustainability movement, PRORIL launched a brand revitalization project centered on the concept of “Gathering Light”, reflecting its brand spirit of Better Together. The new visual identity system employs deep blue as the primary color and uses geometric modular logic for dynamic expansion, combined with natural light, shadow, and human-centered imagery. This design innovation not only enhances PRORIL’s recognition in international markets but also aligns its brand image with sustainability principles, setting a benchmark for B2B industrial brand transformation.
